Hand-applied numbering and author’s signature. A dedicated Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the work. It is available in a pool of up to a single copy of 1200 x 800mm and 2 copies 600 x 400mm and has the status of a work of art. +1 AP (an exhibition copy used for competitions and shows, which cannot be sold)

 

The project constitutes a formal and conceptual experiment situated within the framework of Conscious Abstraction theory, undertaking an artistic interpretation of the prohibition against image-making, which in the Judeo-Christian tradition pertains to both the visual and ontological realms. The starting point is a reflection on the tension between presence and representation—a fundamental issue in both religious and abstract art.

On the visual level, the work employs the technique of light painting as a tool for the dematerialization of form. Instead of constructing a likeness, it operates with light in an ephemeral, anti-figurative, and indeterminate manner. The resulting image does not depict but rather evokes; it does not name but suggests the presence of the unrepresentable.

Thus, the artistic realization constitutes a critical study of the possibilities and limits of representation in a metaphysical context. By renouncing iconographic specificity and choosing an abstract visual language, the project engages in a broader discourse on the condition of the image in visual culture, as well as the spiritual consequences of its absence or exces
